Timothy Dunn, J.D.

Timothy Dunn is an Associate with TNG who brings extensive higher education, risk/crisis management, and organizational development experience to his work for TNG clients. Timothy has served as a campus-based professional for more than 15 years. And, he has spent time in private practice as an attorney and consultant. Timothy brings a thoughtful, compassionate, and well-informed disposition to his work. In addition to serving TNG clients broadly, Timothy’s practice includes, among other things:

  • policy and procedure development and consultation;
  • program review, assessment, and compliance consultations;
  • tailored on-site training programs;
  • on-site crisis management;
  • student- focused programs and interventions.

Timothy has a keen understanding of the issues face by campus professionals. He has worked in residence life, student conduct, student activities, Greek life, and Title IX. This has allowed him to provide guidance, support, and advice regarding complex issues to his colleagues over the years.

Timothy is an attorney who has dedicated his career to higher education. He has worked at residential liberal arts institutions that include Union College (NY), Trinity College, and Macalester College. Timothy deeply understands the contours of the issues college and university officials face daily and is committed to helping institutions successfully navigate those issues.

Timothy earned his undergraduate degree from Northeastern State University and his law degree from the University of Oklahoma.
